The Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel has reopened after a load of golf carts came loose from a truck inside the northbound tunnel about 11 a.m., said Harry Kenyon of the Virginia Department of Transportation.
The northbound lanes of Interstate 664 were reopened at 11:50.
There were no reported injuries, Kenyon said. Six golf carts got loose.
