William Fichtner played Sheriff Tom Underlay in “Invasion.”

The character I thought he played was Bishop the android in the movie “Aliens.” But that’s played by Lance Henriksen.

Considering that I haven’t seen an “Alien” movie in years, I don’t feel so bad for getting them mixed up. But at least now I can watch William Fichtner without thinking about the scene where the android Bishop gets ripped in half by the alien queen. Heheh. (Sorry, Lance. I do think you make a rockin’ android, though.)
